Refund & Exchange Policy – Crown Beds
At Crown beds, we aim to be fair while operating responsibly as a small business.
Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.
Statutory Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or UK online selling regulations.
1. General Refund Rule (Important)
- All approved refunds are subject to an 100% refund of the product price only
- Refunds are processed only where a valid and solid reason is provided
- Delivery charges are non-refundable
- All refunds are subject to inspection and approval
2. Mattresses (Strict Hygiene Conditions)
Mattresses may be carefully tested/used during a short inspection period, subject to hygiene approval.
A mattress is eligible for refund or exchange ONLY IF ALL conditions below are met:
- Returned within 3 days of delivery
- No stains, marks, odours, moisture, or dirt
- No damage or misuse
- Returned in original protective packaging
- Protective covers and hygiene layers intact
Mattresses are NOT refundable or exchangeable if:
- There are any stains, marks, or hygiene concerns
- Packaging is missing or damaged
- The mattress cannot be resold due to hygiene reasons
Any mattress returned with stains or hygiene issues will be rejected, even within the inspection period.
3. Bed Frames & Standard Furniture (Non-Custom)
- Approved refunds are limited to 80% of the product price
- Delivery charges are non-refundable
- Items must be unused, undamaged, and returned with all parts and original packaging
4. Custom-Made & Bespoke Furniture (Non-Refundable)
All custom-made or bespoke furniture is non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
includes items manufactured specifically per order and made to customer-selected size, colour, fabric, design, or special features.
Once production has started, cancellation or refund is not possible.
5. Collection & Return Delivery
Customers may choose one of the following options:
• Customer returns the item in original packaging at their own cost
OR
• Request Crown Beds to collect the item, in which case:
• Collection and delivery charges will be charged separately
• Charges depend on location, item size, and access
6. Manufacturing Faults
If a product has a confirmed manufacturing fault:
- Customers must provide clear evidence (photos/videos)
- The item will be inspected before approval
Once confirmed, Hellas GR may offer repair, replacement, or refund (subject to assessment).
7. Returns Process
- All return requests must be submitted in writing
- Approval must be received before returning any item
- Items returned without approval may be refused
- Refunds are processed only after inspection
8.Two - Year Limited Warranty
Crown Beds provides a two- years limited warranty from the date of delivery.
Warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects
- Structural faults under normal domestic use
- Faulty workmanship or materials
Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Stains or hygiene-related issues
- Misuse or negligence
- Damage during self-assembly
- Comfort preference changes
- Third-party alterations or repairs
Crown Beds reserves the right to repair, replace, or offer a partial refund where applicable.
This warranty is separate from the returns and refund policy.
